As a TEAM we have taken on the challenge of seeing how close we can come to collecting one million toothpicks, and WE NEED YOUR HELP !!<o:p></o:p>

In Math we began the year with the concept of Place Value.  Students were asked to recognize the place and value of digits in whole and decimal numbers.  Although they clearly “know” the place and value of numbers through millions, we ALL need a better recognition of just how many a MILLION really is.  So – OFF WE GO on a COUNTING JOURNEY !!<o:p></o:p>

YOUR HELP would be GREATLY appreciated in tossing a few packs of toothpicks in your cart on the way through the store.  We will keep COUNTING and counting – and see how close we can come to meeting this TREMENDOUS CHALLENGE !!<o:p></o:p>

HELP US by sending in those TOOTHPICKS (un-used  J) right away !!!!  Please choose the small, flat toothpicks and not the larger, sharpened ones.  The smaller ones are easier to handle and bundle, and are less likely to be a safety hazard.<o:p></o:p></DIV>
