A checklist based on areas of participation will serve as the instrument of 
authentic assessment.

   Checklist catagories are:
1. Demonstrates topic knowledge
2. Communicates effectively to group
3. Displays appropriate listening skills
4. Takes acceptable notes
5. Approaches task with a positive attitude
