You will be working in a group of 2 busy bees for most of the activities!
Some activities will require you to do and hand in your own work.
There will be alot of fun research involved, but your main task is to create
and present a flower mobile at the end of your busy journey! You will be
asked to research many different plants and their parts throughout your
journey as well. You will make a flower project by painting rice and
different shapes of pasta. Next, you will glue the decorations on a paper
plate. You may also use glitter and other art crafts to decorate your
flower. You will attach two popsicle sticks to the plate, along with pre-cut
leaves supplied by the teacher. You will then be asked to label the four
main parts of your plant using paper strips that will be provided. Next, you
must present your creation to the class! We will attach the flower to string
and hang all of them from the ceiling in order to create a beautiful
classroom garden! Also, each student must write one sentence in his/her
botanist journal about how you will get Terry Tulip and Sally Sunflower to
become friends again! Good Luck!
