| You and your partner will be assigned a pitcher and a hitter from the list
provided. Once selected you will;
Complete the worksheet that defines the following terms: ERA, Win,
Strikeouts, Batting Average, Steals and Home Runs.
Collect and record data –
a. Pitcher’s ERA, Wins and strikeouts for the last 3 years.
b. Hitter’s batting average, stolen bases and home runs for the last 3 years.
As a team, you and your partner will create line graphs for each statistic
to show an increase or decrease in the data collected over time.
From the line graph, you and your partner will calculate the mean for each
statistical category.
You and your partner will create a collage which includes various components
of the project.
Based on the data collected and graphs produced, you and your partner will
make a prediction as to whether or not the players will be elected to the
Baseball Hall of Fame.
