QuizQudaricentennial Discussion: Today we will be discussing the voyage of Henry Hudson, and how his exploration of the Hudson River led to the development of the Hudson Valley today with focus on the local indians and the economic impact on the region. 
10/5 - 10/9Today we will be in the computer lab to begin work on a geography project about the United States of America.     
10/12 - 10/16NO SCHOOLToday the students will be discussing the early colonies, focusing on the colony at Jamestown and how the colony began.Students will learn about the colony at Plymouth, the imprtance of the Mayflower Compact and compare and contrast the two early colonial settlements.Today we will be examining the New England colonies and the impact of the Puritans and formation of new colonies. 
10/19 - 10/23QuizToday we will be discussing the MiddleColonies and their importance to the growing colonies of England.Stuents will be discussing the beginning of the Southern Colonies.  Test: Chapter 3
10/26 - 10/30today we will be discussing life in the colonies and how English traditions played an important role.Vocabulary terms.
