Mission
The objective of the school library program is to provide students with the skills and resources that will allow them to become information literate. Students are provided with instruction on the organization and use of library and electronic resources. Guidance is provided in the selection of reading materials in various genres for their recreational reading and for classroom assignments. Skills being taught are incorporated into classroom assignments through collaboration with subject teachers across the curriculum. Support is given for students working on research papers and various projects throughout the school year. The Media Center provides the foundation that supports goals and objectives of the middle school curriculum.
