About The Teacher

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology education from Ithaca College in 1995 and my Master 
of Science degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from Albany University in 
2001. I have been teaching science here at Menands School since 1998. Prior to that, I 
taught high school general chemistry and general Earth science at Lansing High School in Lansing, NY. I 
have been coaching soccer at Menands School since the 2000 season. I also co-coached track and field 
one year with Mrs. Lisa Wheeler. I have served as the advisor for multiple clubs as well over the past ten 
years. Some of these clubs and groups have included Yearbook Committee, National Junior Honor 
Society, 8th Grade Class Advisor, and Outdoor Education Advisor.
