| WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!
Each third grader will receive a Menands School agenda on the first day of
school. It is the students responsibility to share his/her agenda with a
parent every night. After reviewing the agenda entry, a parent needs to sign
the agenda.

It was a pleasure meeting so many of you at Open House on September 23rd.
If you were unable to attend Open House, the materials that were distributed
were sent home with your child on Wednesday, September 24th.Please feel free
to contact me with any questions you have about these items and about your
child's third grade experience.
AT-HOME READING LOG will be sent home on Friday, September 26th and will be
due on Friday, October 3rd. Each child has a reading goal of at least 20
minutes, 4 times a week. When your child accomplishes his or her monthly
goal he or she will receive a Pizza Hut "BOOK IT" certificate.
Your child will receive a new log every Monday which will be due every
Friday.
