Third graders will be assigned reading, spelling and math homework every
night.
In addition, third graders may be assigned science, social studies and/or
writing homework throughout the year. Homework is designed to review and
reinforce lessons learned in class.
Homework assignments will be posted on the front board daily, and students
will write assignments in agendas. In addition, parents will sign agenda
nightly.
Spelling: Monday night- alphabetical order, 2 times each, correct format
Tuesday night- sentences as per word list
Wednesday night- sentences as per word list
Thursday night- sentences as per word list and study for test
on Friday
Reading: *read for 20 minutes every night, record reading on Reading Log
*hand in Reading Log every Friday (if there is no school on Friday,
Reading Log will be due on Thursday)
