Hello Everyone! Wow October is almost over. It has been a very interesting
month. Many of the children have been in and out of the classroom sick.
1. I have decided to not send homework home this week and wait until next
week so hopefully the children have recovered from the illness and
tiredness.
2. This Friday is the Halloween Parade at 2:15. We will be having a small
party in the classroom at 1:30. Parents are invited to come at 1:30 to join
us for snacks and to help get children dressed for the parade.
a) All costumes should come in a bag labeled with your child’s name on it.
b) No weapons are allowed at school even if it is part of the costume.
c) If you do not want your child participating in the parade please send
me a note in tomorrow
d) If possible please send back the sheet marked off that was sent home
yesterday.
3. On Friday, October 30th we will also be doing Holiday Centers from 12:15
until 1:30. Parents are welcome to join us and help run a center.
4. If you do not want your child participating in the parade please let me
know.
5. We have finished the first word wall word list. I will be sending home
games for you to play with your child at home to reinforce these words. You
can also check the words to know link for additional resources.
