Description
Earth Day 2008 falls on Tuesday, April 22. Its a special day to learn about our planet and how to take
care of it. As an OPTIONAL homework project the week of April 21 - 25 families can make a craft or
game out of recycled materials. The project can be as simple as using an empty tin can decorated to be
used as a pencil cup, to making a bird feeder out of an empty plastic milk jug. Be creative, use the links
and other resources below to help you come up with ideas. We will share our Earth Day creations on
Monday, April 28. Have fun and remember to discuss an important Earth Day theme: reduce, reuse,
recycle!
