Welcome to First Grade Music!
We've been having a lot of fun this year!
Students continue being active participants in music making. Xylophones are played weekly to continue development of harmony and independence. Students also begin to learn real music terms! So far our word wall has:
Dynamics: piano, forte, mezzo piano, mezzo forte, and crescendo
Form: Verse, refrain
Tempo: Allegro, largo
Melody: Contour
Your children can also sing and decode songs using Mi-Re-Do and Du-Da-Di Du.
