| CONGRATULATIONS! The Menands School PTA has appointed the following people as executive board
members beginning in July 2008:
President - Lisa Neuman
Co-Vice-Presidents - Tracy Trainor and Amy Griffin
Secretary - Laurie Fay
Anticipated appointments:
Membership Chair - Mary Beth Rossier
Faculty Liaison - TBD
We are currently still looking for interested parties to serve as the Treasurer. Please contact Tarasha
McKoy, Amy Griffin or Lisa Neuman if you are interested in running for this position. Brian Rozmierski
has agreed to continue as Treasurer through September.
A special thanks to our current executive board for their time, effort, hard work and dedication to the
Menands School PTA for the past several years. Thanks to Tarasha McKoy who has worked very hard as
the President, organizing committees, communicating with State PTA and helping to implement all of
the wonderful events that Menands School has provided to our children and families throughout the
school year. To Lynda Long for serving as Secretary taking minutes at all of our PTA meetings,
providing support to the executive board, serving on several committees and volunteering at many of
our school events. To Brian Rozmierski for being the PTA Treasurer keeping all of the financial
transactions in order, providing thorough treasurers reports at each meeting and supporting events
through his dedication and service to various committees. To Laurie Fay for her commitment as
Membership Chair and working so hard to recruit new members as well as keep existing members active
in the PTA. To Tracy Trainor, Amy Griffin and Nancy Sposito for their continued communication with
the faculty and staff at Menands School and commitment to/attendance at PTA meetings and events. To
Kathy Meany and Andrea Kostik for their Administrative guidance and support of all PTA related
activities, attendance at every event and commitment to the quality of education and programs for
students at Menands School.
It has been a successful year and we look forward to starting fresh in 2008. Our Fundraising
Committee is already hard at work planning fundraisers for next year. Our newly appointed board is
quickly organizing events on the school calendar that will continue to provide fun
opportunities for our children and families.
Thank you to everyone for their involvement on committees, serving as chair people, volunteering at
events and showing true dedication towards providing exceptional programs for our Menands School
community of students, families, faculty and staff.
