Dear Parents,
On Tuesday I will be sending home conference request forms. The time and
date on the forms are only a start. If you can not attend the conference at
that time, I could schedule one for another date. The times could be in the
morning (7:00 - 7:45) or afternoon (3:00 - 4:20). Please let me know if
there is an alternate date that you would prefer.
The Stone Fox Project is going to begin Tuesday, November 17. Student groups
will have plenty of opportunities to complete a majority of the project in
school (75%). The remainder of the project will have to be done
independently. The projects will be due on Wednesday, November 25.
The students should be reading 20 minutes a night. Every two weeks, students
are resonsible for completing a minimum of one independent reading book.
Students should take advantage of internet access at home and log into to
Accelerated Reader link on my website. After logging in, students should
take the reading comprehension test for that book. Students that do not have
access at home, can stay after on Tuesday for Homework Club to complete the
quiz.
