Week ending October 10
Social Studies: . We will continue our focus on answering DBQs. We will
have homework in answering the questions about the documents found in the
DBQ packets.
We will continue reading Charley Skedaddle.The book is rich in historical
content about the civil war era.
We will be completing these tasks over a period of 3-4 weeks.
Science: We have a classification/ living things test on Wednesday. On
Tuesday, students will receive a small study guide. Students can study from
the notes or book.
ELA We will contiue instruction in how to write
paragraphs effectively. We will be focusing our attention on that task. We
are also completing spelling unit 5. The first workbook assignment in
spelling is due Tuesday, not Wednesday.

Reading: We are spending time reading Tuck Everlasting. We will read
through chapters 15 this week. We will have variety of writing and literary
element tasks to complete.
