Does my child have a locker and what is kept in it?

Every child has a locker and all of his/her school supplies are kept in it.

When can my child go to his/her locker?

Your child can go to his/her locker four times a day: before homeroom, 
before lunch, after lunch, and at the end of the day.

Is my child making it to his/her classes on time?

The children are making it to classes on time.  If they come in after the 
bell they are not penalized unless it is significantly after the rest of 
the class.  If a teacher holds a child after class he/she is given a 
pass to the next class.

What classes does my child get a grade in?

In grades five through eight all students get a number grade from all 
classes including special areas.  All classes are considered for honor roll, 
high honor roll, superintendent's list, and academic eligibility for after 
school clubs/sports.

What if my child needs extra help in math or ELA?

I am available most days after school for help from 3-4 pm.  There is a late 
bus to take children home. If your child needs to stay after, he/she needs 
to set up a time with me prior to 3 pm.  Students can also seek extra help 
during their flex and lunch periods.
