Welcome Spring!!  I personally look forward to warm weather!
This Friday April 5th is a half day for students. 

Please visit www.projectearth.net to see our class for Wormology 11.  This project is entered into several contests.

For ELA and Science we are still discussing Astronomy.  The students have learned about planets, constellations, moon phases, and space exploration.

For reading please have your child point our words that have short vowel sound and long vowel sound combinations.  This helps when decoding words they do not know.  Also to tell you about M.I.N.T.S which is a strategy to help them know when to capitalize words.

Social Studies we will be discussing the changing seasons.

I hope their sunflower plants are thriving and they have told you how they should be caring for them.

Please:  send back their reusable bags.

Send back the yearbook form.  The students really enjoy having this memory at the end of the school year.
