Introduction

The Museum of the Earth in nearby Ithaca would like to open a new display 
that showcases rock collections of local student geologists. Your job is to 
complete research and collect information about rocks and how they are 
created. 

You will use your research to prepare a display and PowerPoint presentation. 
This activity will require: one of your rocks, Internet (4-5 visits to the 
lab), books, digital camera, and use of PowerPoint to create a slideshow.
