A friend from high school has hired you to help organize a business. Prior to obtaining a business loan from a local bank, your client must have a business plan in place. Your client has no clue what a business plan is all about. As council, you must help your client understand the major components of a business plan. Furthermore, you must also provide legal advice regarding: The Legal Organization Cyber Issues Contractual Issues UCC and Sales Issues Employment Concerns Succession plans (buy-out) Intellectual Property Rights Warranties The above topics are not the only ones available to discuss with your client they are merely suggestions.
