I grew up in a traditional Italian Family. Both of my parents are from the
same town in Sicily, Italy. My first language was Italian, then Spanish and
finally English. I enjoy speaking many languages and I love traveling to many
different countries. Being able to speak in another language other than
English has really been beneficial. For me, there is no greater feeling than
being able to connect with another person in another language, especially if
it is his/her native language.
One of my goals for teaching is that along with the language and culture of
the target language I teach, I hope my students gain an appreciation for this
wonderful skill.
