About The Teacher Label:
About The Teacher
I am a fifth grade teacher at Glenwood Landing Elementary. This is my ninth year in the North Shore School district. I have also taught in Chicago and Arizona. I am so excited to be teaching fifth grade. I have also taught grades 2, 3, 4, and 6. Prior to becoming a teacher I was a professional dancer and actress in my home town of Chicago. I danced with the Joel Hall Dancers and performed in over 15 musicals. At age 25 I was an orphan in Annie and this is where my passion for working with children began. Sharing the stage with young children made me realize what amazing potential they had and I wanted to help foster that potential. Now I love using my creative talents in the classroom.
