Write a poem that represents

the book

 

Create a

plot hill and a character trait chart

 

Write about a conflict from the book told from a character’s perspective

as though he/she was keeping a journal

 

 

Create a song or rap about the characters

(personalities, relationships, situations etc.)

 

Write a new ending for the book, or a beginning for the sequel

 

Visit the author’s website to learn information about the author and share what you learned.

 

 

 

Create 3 drawings about the most meaningful parts of the story. Include support text features, the main idea, and the author's purpose to describe each picture.

 

 

Create a PowerPoint about your book. (at least 4 slides)

Create a “Top 10”  list of reasons why your book was enjoyable.

Write two paragraphs

Describing two of the reasons.

 

Design a magazine cover and write a  review for your book (two paragraphs.)

 

Choose 10 vocabulary words from your book. Write the sentences from the text that include context clues and write their dictionary definitions

 

Write a double entry journal. Select four examples of dialogue or important events from the text and explain what it means to you.
