My name is Erika Werbeck and I am excited to be teaching 2nd Grade ILC this
year! This is my 4th year at Glenwood Landing and there is no place I'd
rather be. Although this is my first year teaching the 2nd grade ILC, I have
worked in many other grades and capacities at Glenwood Landing. I started as
in 2008 as a 4th grade classroom aide .The following year I was the K-1-2
Teaching Assistant. Last year I served as the 4th/5th grade Special Education
Teacher in the ITC (integrated co-teaching) classes and ended the year as
the Special Education Teacher in the Primary Skills Class. I received my
Bachelor's degree in Education and Psychology from Manhattanville College in
Purchase, NY and my Master's degree in Special Education from Queens College
in Flushing, NY. When I am not teaching, you will find me reading,
scrapbooking, dancing, laying on the beach in the summer and snowboarding in
the winter.
