During specials on October 31, 2008 your son or daughter learned Oak Grove Elementary School's
Safety Rules about stranger danger.
1. Check first before going anywhere with your
mom/dad/guardian
2. Buddy System- always go places with a budy
3. No-go and tell-if something doesn't feel right say
NO loudly and go tell someone you trust.
The next safety lesson will be in January, where the fourth and fifth graders will present a
song/artwork of their choice about safety in front of their peers.

Trophies
If you have any trophies collecting dust please drop them off at the main office with a note for
Mrs. Turpin-Orgetas. I will reuse them by taking the sticker off and place an Oak Grove record
holder to give to students in 4th and 5th grade at the end of the school year.
-------------------------------
You can help the Oak Grove Elementary School PTA earn money for your trash! All you have to do
is have your child bring to the main office in a plastic bag your used cell phones, or print
cartridges.
