We will be hosting another fitness social during Turn off your TV week in April 2009. Stay tuned
for more information. (Tenative date is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 5:30-8:30
pm).
The Oak Grove Playground Committee has sponsored three Fitness Socials and our goal was to
connectparents, kids, and community members around issues of staying fit and healthy. Thank you
to all of those families that joined us (each year over 100 participants) and over $2500 used
towards playground funds.
This event will provide information and activities related to exercise and nutrition. The event
will include free advertisement booths in the cafeteria, educational information, organized
fitness activities outside (depending on weather), gymnasium, library, and classrooms. If you
cannot make it to our event we could advertise your business in our program for only $15.
