Hello!
I am so glad to have a home in Room 4 back at Oak Grove. For the past five
years I have been working in the Wappingers District in various capacities.
I was the school nurse at Evans Elementary for two years, a long-term leave
replacement teacher at Gayhead, and last year I was lucky enough to teach
kindergarten here at Oak Grove. I graduated in 2002 from SUNY New Paltz
with an Elementary Education Degree, and in 2007 I received my Masters in
Literacy. I live at home with my husband. We have two daughters who are all
grown up and have a family of their own. I love to be outside and watch
nature and play almost any kind of team sport. I ride bikes and run too.
Most of all, I love children, and I can't wait to meet and work with yours
this year in kindergarten!
Our mission as individuals is to be receptive to new learning experiences.
We will grow as individuals within a group. We will be supportive and
encouraging of eachother. I will strive to provide each student with
learning opportunities appropriate for their abilities. My hope is that
these kindergartners will learn to love to learn!
