| Writing Workshop takes place in our Computer Lab, five out of the six-day
cycle. Students experience what real authors do, sitting down to write
everyday, mostly on computers. They are drafting directly on the computer,
and are finding editing and revising much more appealing because of the ease
of Microsoft Word.
Students should be prepared to write every morning. We have spent a lot of
time, and will continue to spend time, on topic generation, so that students
will never have to wonder what to write about while sitting in class.
Students are welcome to use a flash drive so that they may have access to
their pieces at home. | |
