Crisis Response

The Oak Grove School has an active Safety Team whose job it is to keep children and staff in our school safe.  Our team attended a full day training in October to update our skills and get the newest information on crisis prevention and response.  The team meets periodically to discuss safety issues and concerns within the school.  The team includes the principal, school psychologist, school social worker,custodian, a parent, several teachers and the school resource officer (police officer).

In the event of a school emergency our goals to ensure the physical safety of everyone in the building, to insure the emotional safety of everyone in the building,to keep parents informed, and to normalize the building routine as quickly as possible.
