These pictures were taken at the Casa Thomas Jefferson, a binational center in Brasilia where english is taught to Brazilian students of all ages. The students also learn about U.S. culture, e.g. holidays, sports, etc.

Flat Stanley goes to the Museum of Immigration in Sao Paulo, Brazil

The train was used in the 1880's and later to take immigrants from the docks where they entered Brazil by ship to the immigration center. The center is now the Museum of Immigration.
