Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday. Twenty minutes of
reading will be required each night. Spelling tests will be given on
Fridays. Homework assignments will be written in the
student's planner each day.
We expect our students to do their best on homework. If students choose not
to do their homework, they also choose to complete their homework during
recess.
*If there is a legitimate reason why your child was not able to complete the
homework, please send a note on the day the homework was due.
Parents are the key to making homework a positive experience for their
children. Students will know that homework is a top priority in your home
if there is a quiet place for them to work, supplies readily available, a
daily homework time and praise/support.
