I have been a musician for as long as I can remember. I started playing
piano when I was four and the flute when I was in 4th grade. I was also a
part of the Mexico Children's chorus, and the pianist for my High Scool
chorus. I recieved a music scholarship from Nazareth College of Rochester,
from which I graduated with a Bachelors in Music Education and Piano
Performance in 2001. Since then I have been the chorus teacher at Pulaski
Academy. In that time I recieved my Masters Degree in Education from Walden
University. My students have performed a wide variety of repertoire at
various concerts and have been accepted into many prestigious choral groups.
Most notably, I had a student accepted into the Conference All State mixed
chorus, which is the most prestigious High School choral group in the state.
I am also the Assistant Play director and the Musical Director for the Drama
Club. In my free time I am an equestrian and ride my Quarter Horse, Diva
(appropriately named!) in Hunter/Jumper classes at AQHA shows. If you are
ever in my room make sure and check out my pictures of all my horses!
My mission for all of my classes is to teach music knowledge and skills
to all of my students so that they can develope into life long musicians.
Not to mention to put on great concerts for the public to enjoy!!
