Why do the three sixth grade classes sometimes have different homework?

I see each class once a week for a double period, and 6-311 has a double 
period with me twice a week, so the three classes are not in exactly the same 
place.  Also, if a class has difficulty with safety and following directions, 
they will do their science work from the book rather than an investigation 
that day.
