Reading is the key to your success! Please remember to read every night! Try to focus on reading for at
least 20-30 minutes. Remember you can read with someone else too!
Math homework will be assigned most nights. Usually the math homework will be a studylinks sheet.
Sometimes I will assign a review sheet based on topics that we've covered in class. This
homework gives you a chance to practice the lesson of the day and gives me a
chance to see how you are doing.
Writing in your writing notebook is essential for you to practice becoming a true author. The entries
that you write in your notebook are possible ideas for published pieces. You should be able to write
one entry each night, which should be at least one full page. This should take about 10-15 minutes. As
you're writing remember to go back into your notebook and think about all of the things good writers
do!
Remember to try your best on your homework and take pride in the work that you do! If you have any
