TASK
You are the lead detective on the case to solve the mystery, “Which Career
Best Suits Me?” You will begin your investigation with a self-examination,
answering questions such as:
What do I like to do now?
What would I like to do someday in the future?
What am I good at now?
What would I like to be able to do well in the future?
Next you will ask, “What are the occupations that best match my interests and
abilities?” Once you know the answer, you will choose two careers
to investigate in depth, finding all the answers to questions raised in a
Career Brief (e.g. daily tasks, education required and where to get it,
employment outlook, salary, etc.) Then you will create a case file
(portfolio) online, in which you will record your findings. Finally, you
will write up your conclusions and present them to the head of the precinct,
your teacher.
Feel free to follow wherever your clues take you; finding the best answer for
yourself is your goal.
