My name is Rachel Leone. I have been a teacher for 5 years now. I
graduated with my undergraduate degree from SUNY New Paltz with a
certificate in English. I received my Master's degree from Mount Saint Mary
College in Childhood Education and Special Education. Before teaching at
Fishkill Plains Elementary School, I taught for one year in Marlboro Middle
School as a Reading Teacher for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
I have been married for almost three years to my husband, Rob. He works at
Outback Steakhouse, so be sure to say hello to him if you dine there! I
have two dogs named Java and Rocko. Java is 6 years old and Rocko is 4
years old. I love bringing them to the dog park and hiking. They love to
be outside as well.
For the past two years I have attended the Leadership Academy at
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. I have been pursuing my
administrative degree and finished up this past summer!
I hope to have a fun filled year with lots of memories and laughs. I am a
driven individual and I hope to instill a bit of that in you all.
