Specific homework assignments will NOT be posted here regularly. The children write their homework in their planners every day. There will be homework every night, except Friday (usually). Homework will always be a reinforcement of the lessons taught in school. If your child is having trouble with a particular assignment, please help them to complete it and jot a note on the top. I will do my best to set aside one to one time to help them to understand the concept. The children write the homework in their planners daily. Please make sure to sign your child's planner, even when there is no homework. Please view your child's homework to make sure it is done before you sign the planner. It is your child's responsibility to complete the homework AND bring it to school on the day it is due. If homework is not completed and/or not brought to school, the student will flip their card and complete the assignment at recess. After three missed homework assignments, the child will need to attend STAY Program after school. Children should read at least 15-30 minutes a night and practice their math facts. The Reflective Reading Record is due every Monday. The children should be reading and responding to a chapter book at home on three separate nights. The multiplication folder is due every Monday. Please initial each day after you have studied with your child. The multiplication folder NEEDS to be completed on Fridays. This folder will begin in December and continue until June. Yellow envelopes go home every Friday. Please take the time to review the week's papers with your child. Empty the yellow envelope, sign and date, and return the envelope on Monday. Thank you for your support, Mrs. Blake
