                                   Book Report
                              Character Interview

The main characters in the stories that you read were all faced with
interesting situations. I want to know all about it! I want you to
interview the main character of the novel that you read. This will let me
know that he/she was thinking during the story. You may work alone, or in
pairs only. No groups larger than two!

Task: Pretend that you are a reporter for a local newspaper/TV station.
Interview the main character from your book. Write ten or more questions that
will give the character the opportunity to discuss his/her thoughts and
feelings about his/her role in the story. Ask questions that require long
answers for discussion, not just yes, no questions. Complete your report by
listing the questions and answers in an organized, creative fashion.
Creativity is the key! You can do a newspaper/ magazine interview, TV
interview, or you can do it live, in front of the class. Either way, I need
to see a written list of questions and answers!

Remember:
1.	Ask questions that will clearly tell information about the
situations, problems, solutions, etc… that the character has been involved in.
2.	After writing your list of questions, answer them as if you were the
main character being interviewed. Give detailed answers to each question.
The more you write, the better!
3.	Be very creative. However you choose to present your interview is up
to you. The more creative, the better the grade! Think of the different
ways journalists present interviews to the public.
