Book Report: Poem and Advertisement
Due Date: NOVEMBER 5, 2009
Task:
1.Pretend you work for Barnes and Noble. Create a poster advertisement
for the novel. It must include:
1.Title and author in large, fancy letters.
2.A scene from the novel colorfully and neatly drawn.
3.A paragraph persuading people to buy this novel.
4.Your poster may not be a copy of the book cover!
-Your job is to persuade others to buy the novel, so make the advertisement
flashy, noticeable, and neat. Aim to impress!!!!!!!
2. Acrostic Poem
Choose a main character from the novel and create an acrostic poem for the
character. Include the character’s personality traits, problems the
character has, and other important details that refer to the character. Be
creative. The acrostic poem must be neat and colorful. Include pictures,
borders, fancy lettering, or anything else that will help the visual appeal
of your poem.
