H1N1 Update: As you are well aware, many School districts in central New York State are experiencing an increase in absentee rates due to students with flu-like symptoms. Sandy Creek Schools is among those schools. Although we experienced above normal absentee rates a few weeks ago, we seem to be back to normal for the time being. Please visit our website for information on the H1N1 Virus. The next regular meeting of the Board of Education is Thursday, December 10th at 7PM. The board will begin discussions on the 10-11 budget, review a list of new course proposals for next school year, and the board will recognize the Administrative Staff. Representives from Syracuse University will be visiting to award the district with a $9500.00 grant for our intiative on Reading First and Special Education. The Student Semi-Formal Dance is Saturday, December 12th from 8-11PM. The monthly Boosters meeting is Tuesday, December 15th at 6:30PM. The Holiday Chorus Concert is scheduled for Thursday, December 17th at 7PM. Christmas Break starts on Thursday, December 24th. School resumes Monday, January 4th. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
