The Scholastic Book Fair kicks off Monday with a preview day during school hours. Then Tuesday–Thursday it will be open each day for purchases. All Items are Buy One Get One Free – So stock up for Summer Reading. Tuesday from 5:30PM -7:00PM the Book Fair will be open and we will also have an Ice Cream Social.

s Night Fundraiser was a lot of fun. The teachers proved that their math skills were up to the challenge of running the registers and plenty of Saint Peter's families enjoyed a nice night out. Thanks to the Mitchell Family for organizing this event.
Congratulations to our First Communion Class which recieved the sacrament on the first Saturday in May. It was a beautiful ceremony held in perfect weather at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel.
Students from our Confirmation Class received the sacrament on 4/19 at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel. Bishop Maurus Muldoon and Father Garisto presided over a beautiful ceremony.

The Wizards are coming! You won't want to miss seeing the Harlem Wizards play our very own faculty and basketball players. Tickets are on sale today and are limited. The event will take place on June 9th at 5pm. Regular admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are $25.00. VIP tickets will give you a special meeting with the Wizards, slice of pizza and beverage and PREMIUM seating. Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis. Students from Grades Pre- K-3 enjoyed a trip to Marist College for a Field Day sponsered by the college students. They enjoyed games, lunch, face painting and then a movie when it rained. This week they will return to the college for a field day put on by the college students.
Junior Sports Night was a fun night of games and 
activities. Physical Education Teacher Jason Raskin planned and led the fun. Grades Pre-K through 3rd participated. Check out the gallery to the left.
ITV
***UPDATE*** ST. PETER'S ITV TEAM WAS NOMINATED FOR 6 AWARDS AND WILL BE ATTENDING THE AWARDS CEREMONY ON MAY 17TH.
ITV is the Instructional Television service for the schools of the Archdiocese of New York. With broadcast studios located on the grounds of St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers, ITV transmits educational programming in all subject areas to more than 100 elementary and high schools throughout the Archdiocese. A team of students from Saint Peter's were part of the ITV club which met each week to design and practice a news presentation that they presented at the ITV Studios in February.
