About The Teacher
After high school I attended Clarion University, Clarion, PA, majoring in elementary education. I taught kindergarten, first, and second grades for the next eight years until my husband (my high school sweetheart)and I were able to adopt a seven week old baby boy we named Joseph. I later returned to Clarion to work on my masters in library science completing my degree in 1987. I have worked for the Salamanca City School District as the high school LMS since 1988.

Mission
The mission of the Salamanca City Central School Library Media Program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. Leadership and expertise in new technology will promote effective use of instructional technologies and facilitate their integration into the curriculum. By supporting and enriching the curriculum, students will become independent, responsible, lifelong learners and avid readers.
