Dear Parents and Guardians:
Library class is one of the required 13 week rotation classes that all
students will take at one point during the school year. They will have
library class every odd day.
Goals of Library:
1. Learn to find information.
2. Learn to evaluate information.
3. Learn to use information.
4. Read for enjoyment.
To meet the goals of library class the following objectives will be used:
1. Students will participate in library related activities.
2. Students will participate in computer activities.
3. Students will read 2 books of their choice.
4. Students will behave properly according to the Salamanca City Schools
Code of Conduct.
Students will earn a grade for library class and the grade will appear on
the student's report card. It is important that students and parents
understand that this is a required class and that much of what is being
taught will be useful as they continue their education.
