Homework

Reading: Read, read, read! Ask your child questions about what they read,
have your child find our hot words in whatever you read, practice your
child's sight words, and read the decodable books daily.

Math: Practice counting, money concepts (name of the coin and value of the
coin), telling time, touchpoints of numbers, addition and subtraction.

Writing: Practice writing your child's first and last name neatly and writing
complete sentences using a capital, a complete thought, and an endmark such
as a period, question mark, or exclamation point.

Social Studies/Science: Ask your child what they learned each day and ask
them to tell you about it. We learn lots of neat facts, do experiments, and
learn all about how things work, grow, or live.

Agenda: Sign the agenda nightly please and thank you! Your child gets five
points for you signing/initialing the agenda nightly. This is also my way of
communicating to the parents and for the parents to communicate to me.
