(In case you're wondering... the picture above shows my second oldest son,
Nicholas, and his fiance, Sherri. The picture below shows me with two of my
other sons, Joshua and Steven. I'm still trying to get my oldest son, Jack,
to stand still long enough so I can get a picture of him.)
Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting our site to see what we've been
doing in the reading room. My name is Mrs. Andrzejewski, and this is my
fourth year at Seneca Elementary.
ABOUT MY EDUCATION:
I attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic School in Buffalo from
kindergarten until eighth grade. After graduating from St. John's, I went
on to Villa Maria Academy. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from
Buffalo State College. I earned a Masters Degree in Literacy from Buffalo
State College as well.
ABOUT MY WORK:
I began teaching fourth grade in 2001 at St. John the Baptist School in
Alden. After teaching at St. John's for three years, I went to Colden
Elementary School. I taught fourth grade there for one year. Following
that, I taught at Pioneer Middle School. I'm now happy to say that I'm part
of the Seneca team. This is the best group of people I've ever worked with.
They're all talented, creative, nurturing and dedicated professionals, and
I'm proud to be counted among them.
ABOUT MY FAMILY:
I grew up in West Seneca with my five sisters and my mom and dad. My
parents and two of my sisters still live in West Seneca. My oldest sister
lives in Cheektowaga, and my other two sisters live in Hamburg. My sisters
all grew up to be nurses. I guess you could say I'm the oddball because I
ended up becoming a Literacy Specialist.
I live in Arcade with my husband and two of my sons, Joshua who's 16 and
Steven who's 14. My two older sons, Jack who's 24 and Nicholas who's 22
live on their own.
Jack has blessed us with our first grandchild, Cody, who's now three years
old and quite possibly the cutest baby on the planet. (Of course, I'm not
just saying that because I'm his grandma.)
Look for a picture of Cody in the "photos" section!!
My mission is to create lifelong lovers of books. I strive to open up the
happy world of reading to my students.
