READ, READ, READ. If you do the required reading and associated projects you will do well in
my class.

Talk to your friends, they can share titles they enjoyed. Keep an open mind about reading and
you might just find that you will connect with a special book or author. Just one book might be
so awesome that you could become a book lover!

Bingo! You have discovered Bonus Bucks or Lasky Loot. You will earn this money for doing
various things in my class over the course of the year. For example, if your homework is done
on time you may earn a Bonus Buck or if you have gone above and beyond in some way in my
class you will earn a Bonus Buck. There are many ways to earn bonus bucks.

What can the bonus bucks be used for?
I usually go out and buy prizes to fill the prize bucket. At the end of the month we will have a
drawing. Whoever has the most bonus bucks to put into the drawing will have the best chance
of winning a prize from the bucket.
