Students who earn 100% for three consecutive weeks on Group I spelling words may voluntarily advance to Group II.
 
Students in Group II must maintain a minimum test average of 70% or they will be asked to return to Group I.
 
Students in Group II are challenging themselves with extremely difficult words.  For this reason, every student in Group II will earn a 100% in my grade book, despite the grade actually earned on Friday's post test.
 
Students in Group II are still accountable for Group I words though our daily spelling practice and workbook pages.
