For this project you will need two (2) magazine or newspaper articles that deal with people surviving life threatening situations. You should choose for your articles only those that talk about what gave the person the will to survive.

This search tool searches most of the databases available at Todd simultaneously. This is powerful, but can yield too many results. Use the guidelines given in class to cut down the number of articles.

Uncheck Health and Reference Center (surviving illnesses)
Uncheck Informe (articles in Spanish)
Uncheck Business and Company ASAP (companies surviving)

Use Keywords survival personal narratives
Limit results to "Full Text"
Look at clues in the title of the article, the number of pages, document type and the name of the periodical
Use "Citation Tools" for your bibliography
