Civil Rights

To complete the Civil Rights Project,  in addition to researching the individual events you must have an understanding of the whole Civil Rights Movement.  You are required to explain why the event or person is significant in the stuggle and relate it or them to the movement and its history.  General Civil Rights resources will help you with this.

General sources:

Library of Congress Print and Photograph Collection

Please follow the guidelines for using the LOC database. Use the search box to find photos and prints, be specific with keywords.

African American Odyssey
