How do I get to your school?
Traveling North:
Take the Saw Mill River Parkway North to the Executive Blvd. exit. The exit
will be on your right. Make a right onto Nepperhan Avenue. The school will
be on your left, about a block and a half down Nepperhan Avenue.
Traveling South:
Take the Saw Mill River Parkway South to the Executive Blvd. exit. Make a
right to exit then a right onto Nepperhan Avenue. The school will be on your
left, about a block and a half down Nepperhan Avenue.
Do you offer an After School Program?
Yes, we do. Our After School Program runs from 2:30 - 6:00 PM. If you plan
on using the program at anytime during the school year, you must register your
child. Once your child is register, you may choose the dates that your child
will attend the week BEFORE they will be attending. We need this notice so
that the program is properly staffed. The cost is $25 per day for the first
child and $15 for each additional child. We also offer the After Care Program
on First Fridays, when school dismissal is at 12:00, for an additional cost.
When is school in session?
School begins promptly at 7:50am. The doors open at 7:35 with two teachers
and two aides on duty. Students line up each morning in the school hall.
Students will be dismissed by their teachers at 2:30pm in the school yard. No
child is allowed to leave their class until their parent/guardian picks them
up from their teacher. This is for each student's safety. Any student who
arrives at school after 7:50 must enter the school front doors and receive a
late pass from the office.
Students who are picked up after 2:45 will be placed in the After School
Program. A fee will apply for late pick-ups.
Are there activities available at St. Anthony School?
There are. We offer several programs after school. Students will receive
registration forms for each program in the beginning of the school year. Some
activities offered are: School Band, Ceramics, Art, Chess, Bowling
(off-site), and Student Council.
Does have St. Anthony School have an Academic Intervention Program?
Yes we do. We offer an Academic Intervention Program for students who are
need extra help in achieving their academic goals. This is available for
students in grades 1 - 8 based upon their academic standing and standardized
tests. Students meet with an Academic Intervention Teacher in a small setting
during
special classes (music, Spanish, and art).
Does St. Anthony School offer sports activities for their students?
Yes, we do. We have basketball teams for boys and girls from grades 2 - 8.
We also have a girls' volleyball team for those in grades 4 - 8.
