The quarter grade for the Spanish courses consist of the following:
Quizzes 20%
Chapter Tests 50%
Homework 10%
Portfolio 20%

Homework assignments are posted on the board and on my website daily. Students who are absent,
are asked to check my Website and be prepared with the homework assignment for the next day in
class.

Quizzes or tests not taken will be averaged in as a zero. A student absent for a quiz or test,
must see me at 7:30 a.m. in Rm 211 on the day she returns to school. Quizzes and tests are
announced in advance and posted on my Website as well.

This information is given to the students on the first day of school in my course
requirement information sheet.
